London IB Workshop - DP Theatre

ISTA is an officially accredited IB professional development provider with over 20 years of collaboration with the IB. Our IB DP Theatre workshops are trusted by international schools worldwide and go beyond standard teacher training. Alongside certified IB learning, every workshop includes a live performance and a hands-on specialist workshop led by a professional theatre artist, giving you real creative experiences you can bring straight back to your classroom. Our workshops are open to all educators — no ISTA membership required. This event features the following specific workshop categories: Category 1 & 2 (Combined) — For teachers at any stage of experience, with differentiated pathways supporting both foundational understanding and deeper practice. Note: All participants receive a Category 1 & 2 IB certificate. ​ Category 3: Collaboratively Creating Original Theatre — For theatre educators who want to deepen their devising practice and develop more effective strategies for supporting students through the Collaborative Theatre Project.

Hong Kong TAPS Perspectives

TAPS Perspectives is a three-day, in-person IB DP Theatre immersion that brings the course to life through lived, practical experience. Students work directly with practising theatre professionals across the core areas of IB Theatre: collaborative creation, staging play texts, exploring world theatre traditions, and connecting theatre theory to performance. Through reflection, dialogue, and hands-on exploration, students deepen their understanding of the DP Theatre course. Engagement with two live productions strengthens their ability to analyse how meaning is shaped in performance and apply those insights to their own creative work. By learning through doing alongside fellow IB DP Theatre students from other schools, participants strengthen their independence, deepen their understanding of the course, and leave with greater clarity and confidence in their theatre-making.
