French Boules, also known as Pétanque, is one of our longest‑running and most popular Carnival competitions. No experience is required — just gather your friends and family and enjoy a fun, relaxed contest with a chance to win a prize. Registration: From 12:00 (limited spaces available) Entry Fee: £4 per person (cash only) Weather Note: If cancelled due to bad weather, the event will take place the following day. Equipment: Boules are provided. If you enjoy today’s event, don’t miss our Doubles Knockout Competition on Friday — sign‑ups will be available then.

French Boules Doubles – Fun for Everyone! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of French Boules Doubles! No experience? No problem – we’ll explain the rules, so everyone can take part. This tactical game will get you focusing your mind as you aim to outplay your opponents – a perfect mix of strategy and fun. Registration: 12:00 PM (please register early – limited spaces!) Boules: Provided Entry Fee: £4 per person (cash only) Weather: If cancelled due to bad weather, the event will take place the following day Don’t miss out on a friendly, exciting, and social afternoon of Boules! It’s competitive, sociable and a great way to be part of Carnival week.
