Every weird, honest, uncomfortable, beautiful thing I couldn’t say when I was younger. This is going to be a special celebration. Full band, and I want it to be loud and I want it to be close. 80 people in a room. That’s it.tickets are £12.50———————–ELI is a London singer-songwriter whose voice has been stopping strangers in their tracks since a piano session of a song called 15 And Alive at St. Pancras went viral and never really stopped. Expect big pop vocals over production that pulls from Prince, The 1975 and places less expected, with writing that deals in identity, queerness, growing up hiding and the slow work of not doing that anymore. He’s been building a live reputation across London and Brighton, picked up a Mahogany session, and taken his audience from a few hundred to tens of thousands entirely on his own terms and you are still amongst the first to discover him. Dork Mode RAW is the album. It arrives with a full band in a 80 -capacity room in Bournemouth, which is exactly the kind of night where you’ll be telling people you were there.

Launched in September 2024, Bournemouth EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) has rapidly become a central meeting point for electronic music fans and creators in and around Bournemouth. Inspired by the wider EMOM movement and born from a desire to give electronic musicians the same live stage opportunities as other genres, their monthly Thursday night sessions have created a real buzz and quickly established it as a key part of Bournemouth’s music scene. Bournemouth EMOM is open to all performers of electronic music whether they are an experienced performer or a bedroom producer who wants to take those first tentative steps as a live performer. Every act is welcomed into a supportive space, giving artists a chance to showcase their sounds, connect with a receptive curious audience and grow in confidence as a performer. There are no judges, competitions or barriers to entry – just a shared love of electronic music and sonic exploration that is as engaging for the audience as it is for the artists, encouraging spontaneous collaborations, passionate conversations, and new friendships. Each night features an eclectic mix of styles, including ambient, techno, house, drum and bass, experimental, synth-pop, and more.
