Lancashire Mobile Music Vehicle

Hop aboard and discover different musical instruments with the Lancashire Mobile Music Vehicle on The Flag Market. Engaging sessions including Instrument Discovery, Sound Yard, Brass, Woodwind and String explorer sessions. The team will run lots of 15 minute taster sessions during the day. Spaces are limited to 8 people at a time. Drop-in, free and no booking required.

Digital Illustration

Design your own book cover using Procreate software with guidance from the team from the University of Lancashire's Young Creative Centre. This session, run by the Young Creative Centre from the University of Lancashire, will look at what goes in to illustrating a book front cover and why these illustrations are an important part of book publication. Participants will have the opportunity to use iPads to have a go at illustrating their own front covers. They will be guided through the basics of using a digital illustration package to bring a story to life. Who is it for This session in Room No.9 is perfect for younger teens who have an interest in drawing and art, and those looking to get into illustration.
