Over two hours, you’ll have the chance to savour a curated selection of tastes and flavours from Halifax and around the world, as well as learning about the market’s rich history, dating from the Victorian era to the present day. What to Expect: 2 Hour Guided Market Tour: Your market tour guide will take you on a journey through the market’s history and its impact on the town of Halifax, and share with you mouth-wateringly good food stories from both past and present. 4 Surprise Food & Drink Stops: Sample a curated selection of non-vegetarian and vegetarian treats, including two sit down tasting stops. The food varies on each tour but may include: artisanal cheeses, homemade baked goods, award-winning pies, American diner style small plates, authentic Asian food, tasty plant-based dishes, and delicious drinks from around the world. Meet Local Traders: Chat with vendors and stall owners, hearing firsthand about their craft, recipes, and the stories behind their business.
