Southwell Ploughing Match and Show

Established in 1855 this is one of the largest agricultural shows in the are and it has become a key social event in Nottinghamshire's countryside calendar. 8am - 5pm. Expect to see all aspects of agriculture from preparing the land to cooking and eating locally produced food. There will be competitions including plowing using origianal horse power as well as vintage and modern tractors. There will also be livestock judging, farm management displays, a dog show, a horticulture show, home produce competitions and home crafts. Advance e tickets are discounted and cost £15 available until Mon 21st Sept. Show day gate prices are £17.50
