Tickets for the Barnards Miniature Railway can be purchased on the day via contactless payment. Garden Open Day Tickets must be purchased in advance to gain access to the BMR.

We are pleased that we are now able to extend the journey further to Sittooterie Halt which makes the ride 1 1/2 Miles return. The trips will be every 20 minutes and last about 25 minutes. The trains will be hauled by diesel locomotives from our heritage Mardyke collection, although steam locomotives may appear if available on some trains. On some days it may be possible as an add on to ride a shorter route on one of our sit in Electric Multiple Units to Belvedere and back. Grounds open from 11:00 to 16:30. Picnickers welcome in designated areas. Light refreshments will be available. We will be operating the Barnards Miniature Railway every Thursday during the school holidays from 11am until 4pm. We are pleased that we are now able to extend the journey further to Sittooterie Halt which makes the ride 1 1/2 Miles return. The trips will be every 20 minutes and last about 25 minutes. The trains will be hauled by diesel locomotives from our heritage Mardyke collection, although steam locomotives may appear if available on some trains. On some days it may be possible as an add on to ride a shorter route on one of our sit in Electric Multiple Units to Belvedere and back. Tickets for the Barnards Miniature Railway can be purchased on the day via contactless payment. Garden Open Day Tickets must be purchased in advance to gain access to the BMR.
