Interior Design: Creating Your Personal Style - GI 26 059

How do you pull your ideas together to give a unique decorative style to your home? The morning lecture will explain how the professionals set about this task followed by an afternoon workshop where you’ll create a Style Board using samples and images from magazines, in a practical ‘hands on’ visual exercise. A materials list will be provided. Students should come prepared with samples and magazines.

London Churches and Cathedral - GI 26 062

Explore London’s ecclesiastical heritage in this illustrated course. We will study four cathedrals: Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s, Southwark, and Westminster (RC) and selected parish churches and chapels. They include medieval survivals, Wren’s post-fire re-building and show-piece Gothic revival churches like All Saints, Margaret Street. Learn how London’s churches have adapted to social and population change.
