Community Shed Sessions

Tuesday – Thursday, 10am – 2pm The Shed is a welcoming, safe space where people living in North Edinburgh can come to make or mend stuff using recycled wood.  We aim to create a fun space where our members can meet new people, learn new skills, and feel supported to realise their creative ambitions. If you want to learn about wood-making, up-cycle your home furniture or make something new out of recycled wood, come and join us! Tools, space, and support will be provided. The Shed is open for old and new members, between Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 2pm. Cycling Group

Join us for our weekly fun and relaxed bike rides (weather-dependent), led by qualified cycle leaders. We’ll be taking a ride around the local area. There will also be 2 Cargo Bikes available to try! Children must be accompanied by an adult and aged 8+ There is no need book your place in advance – simply drop in! You can bring your own bike along or borrow one from our bike library; we have helmets available too Meet us outside MacMillan Hub, MacMillan Square Free for local residents of North Edinburgh Our Cycling Group meets weekly on Wednesday morning, 10am – 12pm. No need to book in advance, simply come along when it suits you. For more information and to register, call or text the Link Up team on . Creative Movement for Grown Ups

Upcoming sessions will take place on Fridays, 11am – 1pm 20 March, 17 April, 1 May, 12 June, 10 July, 24 July, 7 August, and 11 & 25 September 2026 Join Curious Seed for creative movement and dance sessions for adults, suitable for all abilities and levels of experience. This session encourages moving with ease, personal expression and joyful creativity; to build self confidence and a sense of wellbeing. The session featured live music from Tinderbox Collective. This is a free class for residents age 16+ in North Edinburgh. Location: North Edinburgh Arts, 12C MacMillan Square, Edinburgh EH4 4AB Contact: Call for more information, or drop in on the day. This session is delivered by Curious Seed, with support from Edinburgh Communities Health and Wellbeing Fund.
