Clay Days Pottery Club

Clay Days Weekly Pottery Club Every Monday at 6pm from 25th May - 29th June Join us every Monday at 6pm from 25th May – 29th June for a welcoming, hands-on session exploring hand-building, wheel work, glazing, and the simple joy of making. With only eight spaces available each week, the club offers plenty of individual guidance in a calm and creative setting. Rebecca Atkinson grew up in a pottery shed, quite literally—her dad was a craft potter trained under Harold Thornton, and the family kiln was even used to cook the Christmas turkey. Surrounded by clay, glaze, and visiting potters from around the world, she absorbed the craft without even realising it. After years working in theatre, she found her way back to clay in 2018 and now runs a small studio on Mull as well as her family’s pottery in Crete. Her work draws on the Leach tradition, blending Japanese and Chinese influences with a touch of ancient Greek aesthetics and the colours and textures of the Hebridean landscape—especially her beloved green glazes. Only 7 Spaces each week, £25 a session or £90 for a Club membership (£15 for 6 sessions) #block-441c3747b93da54c34e8 { } #block-441c3747b93da54c34e8 .sqs-html-content { } #block-441c3747b93da54c34e8 { mix-blend-mode: var(--tweak-text-block-blend ); border-radius: var(--tweak-text-block-radius); } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-441c3747b93da54c34e8 { } } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-441c3747b93da54c34e8 .sqs-html-content...
