Kintsugi workshop with Clara Bethell-Sacks

Join Clara Bethell-Sacks to learn the Japanese art of kintsugi repair for broken ceramics. Spend a relaxed few hours with likeminded folk, immersed in the processes, tools and materials of kintsugi. You will be supported to complete a repair using epoxy, coated with traditional natural Japanese Urushi (tree sap) lacquer and finished to a stunning gold-hued shine with fine brass powder.

Fabric Printing - Dye sublimation with Blue Roll Printmaking

Dye sublimation is a heat transfer printing process. We will apply the inks to papers in a variety of ways and then cut and place the paper inky side onto the fabric. When put in the heat press for 30 seconds, the dye permanently transfers to the fabric. You can layer up, creating new colours where they overlap. It can look a lot like screen printing and is incredibly satisfying. There's lots of room for experimentation and play.
