Fish & Chip Evenings (Plus normal running day) Back by popular demand are our ‘Fish & Chip Evenings’ on Tuesdays throughout July and August this summer. Enjoy a relaxed evening that includes a proper Fish and Chip supper in our Station Restaurant or take on the train while you ride through the Island’s countryside in the luxury of an Edwardian carriage pulled by an historic steam locomotive. Public trains run on the line throughout the day, with an extended service into the evening – regular fares apply. Enjoy an evening drink, sat outside or inside whilst you watch the kids let off their own steam in the park and play area. . Please note that the evening train journey and fish & chips are only available from our Havenstreet Station and the fish & chip collection times must be pre-booked first, your chosen time will appear on your printed tickets. you can then choose your train after if you wish to travel. Fish and chip dinner will be available from the restaurant from 17:30. The Steam Railway Proms

Train Service A regular service operates on the line throughout the day, with an additional late train for those travelling back to Smallbrook Junction or Wootton after the concert. The Steam Railway Proms We welcome back the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra for their fourth outdoor concert at Havenstreet station. This event has become a firm favourite in our calendar – enjoy fabulous music with steam trains as a backdrop. Read a review of a previous concert HERE. Enjoy an afternoon of family fun with the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra playing music from your favourite films, including The Railway Children, ET Flying Theme & Moana. Get ready for a truly magical experience at the Steam Railway Proms! We are thrilled to host an authentic replica of the iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car. Come catch a glimpse of everyone’s favourite flying car, snap some unforgettable photos, and enjoy a spectacular evening of music and history. A Last Night of the Proms finale, led by conductor Jonathan Butcher and featuring flag- waving, concludes the entertainment. Please bring your own seating and picnic or visit the on-site bar and café. Dogs welcome! The concert starts at 3pm. Programme to include – The Lion King Beauty & The Beast Moana The Railway Children Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ET Flying Theme Souza March Traditional proms favourites finale Audience participation is encouraged. This is a fun programme for the whole family.
