16th April 2026 - Rosé Wine Tasting - Provence & Beyond

One of of most popular tastings every year.  Rosé is the fastest growing catergory in the wine business, helped by various celebrities (making or drinking!) and poured extensively at luxurious hotels and yachts across the world! Southern France's Provence is the capital of Rosé and home to some of the biggest names in the wine world, so tonight, we want to look at bit more into this. We'll be comparing Provence Rosés to other Rosés from across the world - how do they compare and can they push the mighy Provence off it's Rosé throne? Served with platters of Cheese & Charcuterie, olives and breads. running till 9.30, 38 Church Street, Reigate, RH2 0AJ Tickets to an event at The Vineking require prepayment to secure your booking. All dietary requirements where possible will be catered for. Please confirm these asap after your booking. For some theme nights it may not be possible to cater for all dietary needs.  Smaller tables of 2-4 guests may be seated with other guests on the evening. If you have to cancel your table with 14+ days notice we will refund your payment in full. If cancellation is between 7-14  days before the event, you will be entitled to a 50% refund or we will offer to reschedule you to another date if possible. In the event that we can resell the places booked, there will be a 100% refund. However, we offer no refund payment if there is less than 7 days notice of cancellation unless we can resell the places booked.

Luis Canas Rioja Dinner with The Social Table - 23rd April 2026

Come and join us for a fabulous evening of celebrating 100 years of Rioja as we focus on the wines from Luis Canas, one of our favourite Rioja producers. We will start with a "walk around" Rioja tasting upstairs in the shop (18.30 start), followed by a dinner downstairs (20.00 sit down),  showcasing these wonderful wines with a great menu put together by Richard of The Social Table. After catering college, Richard moved to France and cooked under luminaries such as Éric Fréchon at the 3* Michelin Le Hotel Bristol. He then moved to Normandy to work with Jean-Christophe Novelli, where he perfected his classical cooking. Since then Richard has worked for chefs such as Pierre Koffman and Adam Byatt at the 1* Michelin Trinity, before pursuing a career in contract catering.

Pink Perfection Vs Outstanding Orange tasting - 30th April 2026

We have many customers asking us about both Rosé and Orange wines, so we thought we'd have an evening showing you the differences.  The key is that Rosé is made from red grapes, but produced like a white wine, whilst Orange wines are made from white grapes but produced like a red wine.
