Stand Up Paddleboard Taster Session

If you have little or no experience in watersports, a taster session is the perfect way to get involved. Guided by our knowledgeable and qualified instructors our tasters are designed for beginners. You’ll learn the basics in a safe, fun and supportive environment, build confidence on the water, and discover what you enjoy most without committing to a full course. Jump in and explore! If you have little or no experience in Kayaking, a taster session is the perfect way to get involved. Guided by our knowledgeable and qualified instructors our tasters are designed for beginners. You’ll learn the basics in a safe, fun and supportive environment, build confidence on the water, and discover what you enjoy most without committing to a full course. You can choose whether you wish to paddle a sit on top kayak or closed cockpit kayak. We will provide buoyancy aids and wetsuits (if required) A 90 minute session for those 16 years and above. Sailing Refresher | 1-Day Assessment

Sailing Refresher and/or 1-day Assessment. Sailing Refresher: Completed your level 2 but just need a refresher – this day is just for you ! 1-Day Assessment: If you have no formal sailing qualifications and you want to launch your own boat or hire ours then you need an RYA Level 2, participants should be able to rig, launch and recover a dinghy, sail around a triangular course demonstrating the 5 Essentials, recover a person overboard and complete a capsize recovery, a Logbook and Certificate are provided upon successful completion of the assessment. 9:30am – 4.30pm Requirements Water Confidence An RYA level 2 course, or relevant experience. Sunset Run 10k Organised and hosted by Phoenix Running. At Phoenix Running we’re all about being inclusive; it’s about great routes, great medals and above else, great people. We believe it’s all about encouraging and enabling runners to achieve things that perhaps they once thought were impossible, whether that’s your first 5km, 5 mile or 50 km run, we’ll support you to success. If you have little or no experience in windsurfing, a taster session is the perfect way to get started. Our three-hour session, led by knowledgeable and qualified instructors, is designed specifically for beginners. You’ll learn the basics: how to balance, move forward, and turn around—all in a safe and fun environment. Discover windsurfing without committing to a full course. Jump in and explore!
