It’s 1964 but the sixties aren’t swinging for Mary Adams: 19-years-old, unmarried and pregnant. She is sent in secrecy and shame to St. Saviours, a Church of England mother-and-baby home run by a formidable Matron. Mary is set to work in the laundry and shares a room with the tough-talking Queenie. The girls in the home bond over a love of girl-group records, which entertain, console and inspire as the birth of their babies approaches. When Mary finds she is expected to give up her child for adoption, she begins a desperate fight.

Join us for a musical time travel experience, where you can enjoy the beautiful guitar melodies and creatively diverse, challenging songs of Carlos Santana. Our band consists of highly skilled and musically educated musicians who perform these pieces with excellence. As hundreds of independent reviews have confirmed, it is an absolute delight to witness these virtuoso, Very Santana musicians playing their hearts out! Our band performs live concert versions of the songs with a lot of extra improvisation. This ensures that each one stays fresh and delivers surprises, gig after gig, to those who endeavor return to our concerts every year more of the same. Many of our fans travel far and wide to follow our journey and enjoy our sensational shows. In return, we create wonderful memories of a unique "Santana Experience" for both our audience and ourselves. This live experience spans the entire musical Carlos Santana legacy, including the early era songs from the Abraxas album such as Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, and Samba Pa Ti, through the LATE 70s hits such as Europa and She's Not There, to the MODERN ERA multi Grammy-awarded songs such as Smooth and Maria-Maria... Very Santana recreate the guitar master and his band's live experience, with all the authenticity and uniqueness that made Carlos Santana a living legend musician and composer.

Calum MacPhail

Scottish singer, songwriter, and accordionist Calum McPhail is making waves with his vibrant fusion of traditional Scottish folk and Irish music. An exciting new presence on the Celtic live music scene, Calum first made his mark at just 16 when he founded the award-winning folk band Hò-rò, touring internationally and captivating audiences with his high-energy performances.
