Café Style Worship at Ilkeston Methodist Church All Age Creative Service: Where Faith and Creativity Collide! What to Expect in Our All-Age Café Style Service These Café-Style Worship services weave scripture, drama, reflection, conversation, and media together. They have been designed for worship around tables. Cafe Style The café element comes from the change in seating arrangements, where the regular rows are replaced with tables (usually with biscuits!). There are usually a variety of activities for all ages to participate in, from table prayers to colouring activities, word searches, and other creative options. Because of this, refreshments are served during the service. This helps people feel more at home in church. If you haven’t attended church before, this service is for you! These services usually last between 45 minutes

Music is Power – IMC Music Band Service, Shows, Carols, Festivals, Music plays a central role in Ilkeston Methodist Church’s worship and community life. Whether you love singing, playing an instrument, or simply enjoying uplifting melodies, our IMC Music offers something for everyone. Join us as we celebrate faith through music and create a welcoming environment for all. Welcome bands who play chart music or other taste, but will need to play Christian Music and hyms Join our band New members would be most welcome. Feel free to speak to us or pop in during rehearsals. As long you can play on Sunday, we open to you plying non Christian, Christian music at other events. We are also looking for a youth band, and directors who can teach and lead the music.
