Frontline Afterchurch

Frontline is our Youth Group for 14-19s (school years 10 and above). It meets every Saturday and Sunday evening during term time. The aim of Frontline is to give young people a great place to hang out and to get to know the Real Jesus. Saturdays Each week there'll be a short talk from the Bible on something relevant to life. It's a great place to find out more about Jesus. Sundays We also meet on Sundays for a chance to consider more about what it means to follow Jesus. We do a mixture of activities, from going round different houses of church members to having question times.

Needle & Thread

If you enjoy sewing or would like to learn how to sew, then this is the group for you. We are a large, friendly group of people with a range of abilities. You can take part in patchwork, embroidery, stitcheries, beadwork, toymaking and anything else involving a needle and thread. You'd be really welcome to join us, whatever the level of skill you have. Each week we enjoy a thought for the week from the Bible as well.

Would you like to improve your English?  Free English lessons are available in The Way.  Everyone is welcome, whatever your background and level of English. To find out more, either call our church office on , see the poster below or drop into The Way Coffee House on West Street in Dunstable. There is no need to book for these classes, please just turn up and you will have the opportunity to make some new friends while you are learning English.  We look forward to meeting you! Classes will be running throughout term time, people need to come along to enrol.  Our sessions are aimed at beginners and those wishing to practice conversational English.  We [start at 19:45](https://x-apple-data-detectors//0) and [finish at 21:00](https://x-apple-data-detectors//1), every Monday with an option to read the Bible together and improve pronunciation and understanding [until 21:15](https://x-apple-data-detectors//2).

Watercolours, gouache, oils, pen and pencil, poetry – whatever your thing is – ART provides space and mutual encouragement plus friendship. We welcome anyone who already has an interest, or who would like to learn. We will try and introduce inspiration each week and help you develop and express creative abilities. Our aim is not only to encourage appreciation of the world, but to introduce you to the God who made it. We meet during school term times at the rear of The Way Coffee House on a Tuesday from 10 till 12.

Foodbank

Dunstable Foodbank is an initiative hosted by a number of churches in our town. We are pleased as a church to serve our community in this venture providing food parcels to those in need. Christ Church Dunstable will be hosting a distribution centre at The Way on Tuesday between 2.30 & 4.30pm and Friday afternoons between 12.30 & 2.30pm, which also includes a drop-in session with light lunch. If you are 60+ we would love you to join us at Connect@ChristChurch! We are a lively group who meet on Thursday mornings during term time from 10:30-11:45am. You can be sure that you will be made very welcome. We really enjoy spending time with one another and especially like getting to know new friends who come along. Our times together are varied from week to week. We regularly have 'Learn Together' mornings when guest speakers give interesting presentations. Other weeks we hold our 'Relax Together' sessions when we enjoy a variety of games and activities while, of course, having lots of good conversations with each other. From time to time, we have a 'Discuss Together' sessions, which is when we share our thoughts and beliefs in small groups. And last, but by no means least, we love our opportunities to 'Eat Together', holding parties and special events, including outings, throughout the year. Each time we meet, we share from the Bible for a few minutes and think about its relevance to our lives. We follow this with some light refreshments as we continue to chat together. Come and relax with Pauline and friends as they share their skills – knitting, crochet, cross-stitch or nattering! The group meets between 9.30 and 11.30am during term time on Friday mornings. Looking to start a new hobby, or learn a new skill? Want to pick up the stitches you dropped years ago? Just want some company? You can start something new or complete an article you are already working on. We have patterns, knitting needles, crochet hooks, wool, aida and silks available to  get you started. We are excited for our NANO DAY coming up at the beginning of the summer term! It will be a wonderful opportunity to look at God's Word together and get stuck in to some great activities. We will be based at the church but heading out in the middle of the day to use the sports hall at Dunstable Leisure Centre. We hope as many of our Nanoers can join us as possible. Tiddlers & Toddlers

Calling all 0-4 year olds, bring your Mum, Dad or Carer to Tiddlers & Toddlers! We aim to provide a safe environment for them where they can interact happily with other adults. This leaves you free to play with our toys and meet others your own age over a snack or craft activity and even to have a sing-along to your old favourites. You can be assured of a warm welcome and we will provide your adults with a cup of coffee and a comfy chair. Each week we aim to tell a short Bible story in such a way as to engage everyone there. We celebrate different events in the year with special meetings – you should see our Christmas bash! Get your adults along between 9.30 and 11am each Monday or Friday, we always begin the second week of term time – and don't forget to take them home with you when you leave; we don't operate a parent minding service! We meet in the rear of The Way.
