The Shakespearean Supper

Thou art invited to The Shakespearean Supper A Shakespeare inspired evening of feasting and revelry with three courses of food, immersive live entertainment and plenty of laughs! Find the auditorium transformed as our players bring Shakespeare to life around you, from the young lovers of Romeo and Juliet to the divided kingdom of King Lear, all performed at the centre of the auditorium. Feel transported back to Elizabethan England as our host guides you through traditional (and sometimes ridiculous) feasting customs whilst you savour a three course dinner including honey glazed gammon and berry pavlova. Dress code: As you like it! Tickets: £90 each, or £810 for a table of 10Please note: the full ticket price of £90 includes an optional £20 donation to The Theatre, which can be Gift Aided. If you do not wish to make a donation with your ticket please call the Box Office to book.

Adult Drama Showcase

Whispers of Murder A play within a play; a murder mystery within a murder mystery. This year, the Adult Drama group has devised a play, full of twists and turns, centred around a Hollywood diva. As a group we decided upon characters and plot before our amazingly talented member and writer, Charlotte Edwards (former member of Chippy's Creative Writers group) turned the ideas into an exciting script that we hope the audience will enjoy immensely. A classic whodunnit. We’ve had a great time making this piece, and as always have focused our attention on detailed character work and storytelling… lots of hard work, but even more laughter and fun! Everyone is welcome to come and join us at The Theatre for an evening of fun entertainment.
