Visionary artists Alex Grey & Allyson Grey teach painting and drawing from the wellspring of divine imagination. In this workshop, artists create from the sacred ground and the mystic eye. Alex & Allyson led The Visionary Art Intensive for 28 years at Omega Institute. Beginning this past summer of 2025, the Visionary Art Intensive is now being offered at CoSM’s charming classroom, the MAGI Art Lab (Mystic Artists Guild International.) Visionary Art Intensive at CoSM, class of 2025 Throughout this seven-day workshop, all participants will have the opportunity to share sketches and works in progress emerging from daily vision practices, and access funnels toward vision-manifestation. APPLY NOW: VISIONARY ART INTENSIVE Tuition & Meals: $1400.00 —Accommodations additional & recommended to stay onsite. Through illustrated talks, vision practices, and group interaction, we empower the process of bringing our heart’s iconography to outer form and examine the global & venerable Visionary Art tradition. Using guided imagery, meditation, shamanic ascent, and practices to envision body, mind & soul, we open the doors of the imagination to the theater of revelation.

Admission to the building closes at 3:00 PM, and guests must be inside the Art Lab by this time to participate. Once the Art Church meditation begins, late arrivals will not be permitted into the room. If you arrive late, a remote viewing option will be available in the Grey House Parlor. 2026 July Moon Workshop: Whirling Magic with Nawal

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Whirling Magic: a Journey in to transcendental states. Rooted in the rich tradition of Egyptian Tanoura folklore yet offered here as a universal, non-religious practice, this master class invites you into one of humanity’s most ancient movement rituals. Whirling is not simply spinning — it is an art of organization, a discipline of the body finding its home along the vertical axis. In this space, all are welcome, regardless of background or belief, to experience the profound intelligence this practice carries within its turns. There is a paradox at the heart of whirling: the more the body moves, the more still the inner world becomes. At the center of this stillness lives the spine — the Sushumna, the central axis, the body’s own antenna. As we organize ourselves along this vertical channel, the brain’s signal travels downward through the crystalline medium of cerebrospinal fluid, illuminating the cord that connects crown to root. This is not metaphor — it is physiology meeting mystery. The vertical axis has always been our access point to the flow state, to expanded consciousness, to that deeper current of aliveness that runs through us when we get out of our own way. This class is a fully embodied, experiential journey through breath work, intentional movement, and the conscious organization of the body in space.

M.C. Escher: A Graphic Visionary Presentation & Discussion with Jeffrey Price, Alex Grey & Allyson Grey The artwork of M.C. Escher occupies a singular place in the modern imagination. Through impossible architecture, infinite transformations, crystalline forms, and shifting perspectives, Escher revealed worlds that seem to exist beyond the boundaries of ordinary perception. His images challenge our assumptions about reality while inspiring wonder, curiosity, and contemplation of the infinite. Though often associated with mathematics and visual paradox, Escher's work continues to resonate with artists, mystics, scientists, and seekers alike. His intricate explorations of order, chaos, symmetry, metamorphosis, and infinity invite us to consider hidden patterns underlying both nature and consciousness. Decades after their creation, his prints remain among the most recognizable and beloved works of the twentieth century. As part of Entheon's current exhibition, Supernal Light, visitors have the rare opportunity to experience twelve original Escher limited-edition prints and a rare sculpture on loan from renowned Escher scholar and collector Jeffrey Price. These remarkable works offer an intimate encounter with the precision, imagination, and visionary power that define Escher's artistic legacy.
