'Good News, Good Bread' - sourdough breadmaking workshop

You're invited to join us on Friday 24th April at 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Artizan Cafe, Cambridge St, Harrogate. David Francis, artisan baker for 40 years, will be sharing some of his passion & expertise in natural sourdough breadmaking, and how the gospel of Jesus is revealed through this process. We'll take part in hand milling the grain, dough making, starter creation & care, PLUS of course, your dough to take home and bake the next day. (recipe & methods will be sent in pdf format) NB: For the workshop, we will provide: the flour, salt and starter but Please bring: a plastic bowl that holds around two litres of water and, if possible, a digital set of scales that measures in 1g increments, an apron (if required), a dinner knife, and a hand towel. Please sign up to let us know you're coming, so we can provide the correct amount of ingredients - and let us know if you don't have the bowl or scales (we can bring spares). We are so pleased it's becoming a more regular event - to which we can invite friends & others to join. Youth Alpha Smallgroup

Alpha Youth is an interactive series designed for teenagers (school years 7–13) to explore the basics of the Christian faith in a safe, open, and fun environment. It features engaging video clips & group discussions, focusing on questions about life, purpose, and God - covering topics like: "Who is Jesus?", "Why did he die?", and "How do I pray?" Meeting on first Saturday of the month, 3-5pm.
