St Mary’s has a fine peal of 8 bells.  Ringers meet for practice on Thursdays from 7.30 to 9.00pm, and ring for Sunday services, and occasionally at other times. Are you interested in learning about the rich history and beautiful culture of bell ringing in Britain?The sound of bells has been a cornerstone of our society for centuries, marking important events and bringing people together. If you live in Peterborough, you can experience the joy of bell ringing firsthand by joining the friendly group who gather on Thursdays between 7:30pm and 9:00pm for practice. No matter your age or experience level, everyone is welcome to learn the skill of bell ringing and become part of this wonderful tradition. Come and Join us on a Friday Morning Everyone is welcome to come along to this informal 'chill and chat'. Grab a coffee and a piece of cake. Bring your friends or make new ones.During school term time only.We welcome you from 10am until 12.00am each Friday except for during school holidays.Dates for the Summer term are:Tuesdays 16th April to 21st MayTuesdays 4th June to 16th JulyWe can be found in the lower hall of the church building and you do not need to be a member of the church to come and join in. We do not charge to spend the morning with us although donations towards our costs are appreciated.
