Stokes Croft China Mug Decorating Workshop

Tickets Spend a relaxing afternoon creating a uniquely decorated piece of fine bone china! Collage together many images and as much text as you like from our unrivalled collection of historic and new water-slide ceramic transfers – there’s plenty of weird & wonderful things to choose from, whether you’re into vintage roses or anarchist slogans. Our experienced workshop crew will guide you through applying the transfers to create your own uniquely designed mug*. Tickets include a fine bone china mug, transfers, firing and tuition. *If you want to make something else, choose from a selection of other fine bone china ware (available for an additional charge on the day). SESSION TIMES: 1.00 – 3.00pm or 3.15 – 5.15pm COLLECTING YOUR FINISHED PIECE: the decorated china ware needs to be fired then cooled, so you’ll be able to collect them from our shop one week after the workshop. FAMILY FRIENDLY: children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Suitable for ages 8+. CAN’T MAKE IT? With at least 3 days notice you can rebook or request a refund via Yuup. People's Art Club & Community Drop-in

A free creative drop in session, open to everyone! Open creative sessions: bring your own project, join in with the day’s activities, or just come hang out for a cuppa & a chat! Previous Art Clubs have included monoprinting, paper making, papier-mache, portraiture, drawing skills, fabric painting, and collage… What would you like to create? Also available at People’s Art Club: DOPE Magazine, tents and sleeping bags, free tea & coffee, phone charging, sometimes biscuits & snacks. Free entry, open to all, those with no homes particularly welcome. How to Beat Your Boss

Tickets Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. Description A trade union is essential for improving your working life – but it can be difficult knowing where to begin. Starting from a few coworkers, how can you find ways to put pressure on your employers and force them to make the changes you need? In this workshop – delivered by and for current and new trade union organisers – we’ll discuss a range of trade union tactics and the different situations they’re suitable for. What to expect After a short introductory talk, we will discuss the topic in small groups, with some time to feed back to the whole room. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. We aim for every event to be accessible to everyone, regardless of any prior knowledge! About Bristol Transformed Bristol Transformed is a grassroots, volunteer-run, socialist education group. Bringing together activists, trade unionists, and everyone who wants to learn, we’re creating the space to discuss the most important issues facing us, equipping us with the skills and knowledge to transform Bristol and the world. Fuze x Switched: The Sound of Switched

Tickets The Sound of Switched The Bristol based creative collective, FUZE UK, creates professional opportunities for students and young people, giving them development in their creative career, whilst raising funds for charity. Our values are simple – creativity, sustainability, diversity and inclusivity. We’ve teamed up with SWITCHED, a student-run campaign calling for young people to take control of climate change, and SWITCH to climate-safe banks to take a stand against the banks who are dominating the financial landscape and heavily invest in fossil fuels. To celebrate this movement, we’re bringing you the SOUND OF SWITCHED, a cultural gathering and open mic, spotlighting Bristol’s hottest upcoming hip hop and R&B artists! Our aim is to empower people through this immersive music event to join the movement, make the switch, and be part of a more sustainable future. Radical Social Work - learning from Vital Signs

Tickets Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this. Description Radical social work is a rich tradition but too often it is only accessible via academia. Instead we want to bring together those who work in social care, have experience of it, or just have an interest. Together we’ll consider topics such as the family, motherhood, care, and injustice embedded in current systems. We’ll then ask how social care could be practiced in new, truly emancipatory and radical ways. This month we’ll be discussing Vital Signs magazine – a publication by and for health workers and patients – and asking what inspiration social workers could draw from it. What to expect After a short introductory talk, we will discuss the topic in small groups, with some time to feed back to the whole room. Most of our events have somewhere between 10-30 attendees. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved, regardless of prior knowledge or whether you have attended before. Drop-in Tile Decorating @ PAF

Have a go at designing and decorating your own piece of Stokes Croft China! Rummage through our boxes of vintage & modern wet-slide transfers, then collage them all onto a ceramic tile coaster or trivet, with the help of our decorators. The price includes a ceramic tile, transfers, firing and tuition (plus optional cork backing). Coaster tile (approx. 10cm square): £15 Trivet tile (approx. 15cm square): £20 SESSION TIMES: 13:00 – 17:00. This is a drop-in session, if it’s busy there might be a short wait. There are no time restrictions but plan for a minimum of about an hour to decorate. COLLECTING YOUR FINISHED PIECE: the tiles need to be fired then cooled, so you’ll be able to pick them up from Stokes Croft China the following week. FAMILY FRIENDLY: children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Suitable for ages 8+. Collage Zine Making Workshop

The PRSC’s very own tame collage artist object… will help you create a zine (DIY magazine) using collage, mixed media, and just one sheet of paper! This technique allows for the design and creation of a zine which can be easily reproduced at any copy shop, in colour or black & white. We will provide a big box of collage materials, and everything else you will need, but if you’ve got some source material you’d like to use, (or anything else – a typewriter to add text, paint pens, some fly-posters you pull off the wall on your way here) then bring them along! School of Activism Presents: Anarchy 101

Tickets Anarchy 101 is a 2-hour in-person workshop that combines participatory elements and individual reflection about anarchist ideas, values, and practices. Rather to focusing on theoretical debates, this workshop invites people to consider how anarchist principles and actions are already showing up in their everyday lives. This is an entry level session exploring some of the basic principles and values of anarchism and providing an opportunity for people to ask questions in an open and welcoming environment. This event is free (donations welcome) and open to all. Tea, coffee and water will be available, feel free to bring your own snacks. Tickets A night of political, social and cultural comedy featuring some of the most exciting grassroots comedians of Bristol and beyond – and the acts ACTUALLY get paid. Come join the revolution! WINNER (Chortle awards): Best Comedy Format 2026 for South West & Wales! WHY THE PEOPLE’S COMEDY? The People’s Comedy formed in 2018 with the aim of platforming comedians with a message (think counter-culture, underrepresented, original) and ensuring that they’re paid for their craft. On top of that, no headliners showcasing each act’s unique comedic voice. Also, this night supports the collectively owned PRSC building to grow and thrive.
