Celebrate the biggest night of musicals with us as our talented ensemble groups starting from Year 4 and growing through every stage shine in show-stopping numbers from a wide variety of beloved productions. From classic favourites to exciting contemporary hits, there is truly something for every musical fan to enjoy. This uplifting evening also supports an important cause as we proudly raise funds for Mind, helping provide essential mental health support, guidance, and advocacy to anyone facing challenges. Your attendance makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure no one has to struggle alone. We are also honoured to raise money for  the Sheila tooney Award, which raises money to support young people in our area who dream of pursuing a future in the performing arts. This award helps emerging talent take their next steps whether through training, workshops, or educational opportunities ensuring they have the support they need to follow their passion. From the Noda SW Multi-Award-Winning Company that brought icon productions such as Les Miserables and Ghost: The Musical, The Athenæum Masqueraders are proud to present Shrek The Musical! Get ready for a Shrektacular adventure with everyone’s favourite unlikely hero, Shrek, and his hilarious sidekick, Donkey! Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek the Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure that brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage with a side-splitting script (William Steig) and iconic soundtrack (Jeanine Tesori) and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears. “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. The Colour Room

Based on the life of ceramic artist Clarice Cliff who broke the glass ceiling and revolutionised the workplace at a pottery factory in the 1920s. She covered up the imperfections of undecorated sub-standard ceramics with bright Art Deco-style patterns and helped the factory survive the Great Depression. 1 hour 50 minutes                     Cert.
