Monday Mindful Yoga 6-7pm Whether you’re new to Yoga or just want to practice in an intentional way, this is the perfect class for you. Dharma Yoga

Simon shares a complete yoga practice as taught to him by his guru, Sri Dharma Mittra.. This is a complete practice and will stretch, strengthen and condition your body and mind, through asana/movement, then we will use breath control (Pranayama) to enable us to concentrate and prepare for meditation. There will also be mantra, which is an act of worship and devotion, finished with a soul connecting shavasana and sound healing. Foundation Yoga

Kick off your day with some yoga with Gaynor Mullin. Gaynor has been running our Tuesday yoga classes since we started Wellbeing Tuesdays. Open to all abilities – this inclusive class, will help you to improve your strength and flexibility, along with reducing stress and strengthening your immune system and general wellbeing. The suggested donation for this class is £5 and is based on what you might pay for a similar class elsewhere. If you are able to donate it helps us keep these classes going and affordable for all. Pay what you can All our Wellbeing Tuesday classes and events are ‘pay what you can’ basis. This means that everyone regardless of finances, can access events and activities here at Stretford Public Hall and everyone will always get the same experience. Each class will have a suggested donation based on what similar classes in the area cost to attend. If you are able to donate this price, it will help us to keep this programme of events running for the future. However, there will never be an expectation for someone to pay this. Do I need to book? No, all Wellbeing Tuesday classes and events are walk-up only.

Weekly Warmer

Stretford Public Hall’s Weekly Warmer continues thanks to our volunteers. As part of our wellbeing support, come and relax in the Old Library from 9:30-3:00 to enjoy free warmth, company, wifi, tea & coffee. From 12:00 enjoy free food – for example, homemade soup and bread.

Confidential and independent advice with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems, with advisors from Trafford Citizens Advice. Here every Tuesday 9.30am – 3pm

Housing Options (HOST), Trafford Council

HOST officer deals with enquiries such as looking to prevent homelessness and making decisions around homelessness. They also provide information on Trafford Homechoice and offer housing advice by providing a range of options available or signposting to relevant agencies to meet the customers need. Every Tuesday
