The 50km loop then heads over Exmoor with ups and downs and some magnificent views with over 1,600 metres of climb. You can take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Acorns! Sign up as an individual or as a team; you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food and drink, optional camping and transfers, a special medal, t shirt and celebration finish.

Beginners Trouser Making - Sew Mindful

In this short course, you be guided through the process of making yourself a lovely pair of Bob Pants from Style Arc. Bob Pants is the perfect beginners trouser pattern. It has a universally flattering balloon/barrel style leg shape which is loose and forgiving so no nightmares with fitting. This course is suitable for absolute beginners. We will go through all the techniques needed and you will be given support at every stage in the construction from choosing your size, cutting out, sewing together and finishing seams. The cost of this course includes a pdf or paper copy of the pattern. What to bring? Machines, equipment and elastic will all be provided. You will just need to choose some lovely fabric to make your trousers in. On booking, you will receive details on what fabric to bring (pre-washed). No need to bring your own sewing machine (unless you would prefer to). Please note that everyone works at a different rate. We will endeavour to ensure that everyone completes their trousers within the three sessions but we cannot guarantee this. It's a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-croissant-fuelled, 30 minute kids and families adventure. Here's the deal: you turn up 10-15 mins before it starts (from 8.45am) for a croissant or pain au chocolate and a coffee, then at 9.30am you'll be guided to a 'bubble', and you and your little ones will share in 30 mins of song, story, puppets, and prayer. We are excited to meet together as church family at the Angel Centre, for our Sunday worship gathering. There will be a warm welcome for everyone, with refreshments served from 10.15am, before we worship are welcome, with all-age worship and a safe space for younger children. Parking: There is no designated parking available for the centre and the nearest car park is Friary Walk (formerly Crowngate). Offering: There will be an offering basket placed by the welcome table for donations for the work of the church.
