About Exhibition Opening Reception Saturday 25 July, 12–4pm Rabley Art Centre, Mildenhall, Wiltshire Join us for a free Summer opening reception at our Wiltshire gallery space at Rabley Art Centre. Set within the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, this event welcomes visitors of all ages to explore our latest exhibition, enjoy the surroundings, and spend time with family and friends. The event celebrates the opening of 'All'Antica', a new exhibition bringing together eight international contemporary painters whose work reimagines the visual traditions of Renaissance and Early Modern Europe for the present day. Alongside the exhibition, guests can enjoy a relaxed afternoon of art, food and community. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the afternoon, and visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic. Family-friendly workshops and activities led by a local arts organisation will take place during the event, making it an ideal day out during the summer holidays. Free parking on site. Summer Fayre comes to Historic St. Peter's Church near Wilton

About A traditional Summer Fayre is set to bring the community spirit back to St Peter's Church in Fugglestone, Wilton. Step back in time into a celebration of community, tradition, and summer charm. Play traditional games like Cornhole, Ring Toss and "Walk the trail". A programme of entertainment will enhance the festive atmosphere, featuring traditional Morris dancing alongside performances by local musicians. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy recitals on a hand-pumped pipe organ, a rare and historic musical treasure in the church. To complete the experience, a selection of cream teas and other refreshments will be available throughout the event. The event is organised by the Fugglestone St Peter Trust, a community-led initiative working to secure lottery funding for the restoration and revitalisation of the church building. Trustees will be on hand throughout the afternoon to discuss plans for expanding the church's role as a community space—and visitors can even take aim at them with wet sponges in a traditional pillory. Whether you come with family, friends, or simply a curiosity for local heritage, there will be something to please everyone. The Fayre is free to attend with all proceeds supporting the restoration project

Three Bad Men (1926) With live piano score by Meg Morley

About A new series of silent-era classics arrives at The Pound Arts Centre, all accompanied by live piano score performed by BFI Southbank's resident pianist Meg Morley. Since performing for her first silent film in 2016, Meg has quickly become one of the UK's pre-eminent silent film accompanists, performing at various international film festivals and playing reguarly at the London Cinema Museum. In the 1870s, gold is discovered in the Dakota Territory, and wanted men Bull Stanley (Tom Santschi) and Mike Costigan (J. Farrell MacDonald) join thousands of other pioneers on a westward journey in search of wealth. Soon, Bull and Mike see a gang of thugs attacking Lee (Olive Borden), a young woman. They rescue her, but her father is killed during the assault, so Mike and Bull become her guardians. Before long, Bull and Mike leave their criminal pasts behind and devote themselves to Lee.
