8at Open Bakery Artisan Bakery Lessons
In this afternoon workshop, Tommaso will show you how make the perfect pasta dough; he’ll then guide you through two traditional pasta shapes (Malloreddus and Orecchiettte) ; as well as one filled lemon and basil ricotta ravioli pasta; all rolled and shaped by hand! He will communally cook and talk you through how to cook your ravioli and show you how to make a classic herb butter sauce. At the end is an opportunity to informally enjoy your cooked ravioli with fellow class mates. The rest or your uncooked pasta will be boxed up for you to take home and enjoy - great frozen for another day!
9Step right up and join us at Southampton Manor for our Summer Circus, a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment, games and summer celebrations for the whole community to enjoy. Enjoy live entertainment from Louis Bibbins singing summer classics, alongside a BBQ, summer refreshments, circus-themed games, stalls, a tombola and plenty of fun throughout the afternoon. Guests will also have the opportunity to take a personal tour of the home and discover what life is like at Southampton Manor. Following Evensong, we enter into Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament — a time of stillness and awe before Christ present in the Eucharist. The Blessed Sacrament is placed upon the altar, and we adore the Lord in silence and song, receiving his blessing in the sign of the Cross. Evensong and Benediction together unite the beauty of Anglican worship with the deep devotion of Catholic tradition: word and sacrament, praise and presence, rest and renewal in the love of Christ.
