We invite you to Stithians Lake for an exciting day of wildlife surveying on Friday 24 July. Whether you're passionate about conservation or simply love exploring nature, this event is a great way to make a positive impact. Event details Date: Friday 24 July 2026 Time: 9am to 2pm (end time may vary) Meeting point: Stithians Activity Centre car park What you'll be doing During the event, we will be walking around the lake to carry out a butterfly survey and check reptile refugia mats along the way. This hands-on activity will help us record species data essential for monitoring the site and creating improved management plans. Dulverton Gardening Club Annual Flower & Produce Show Join the members of the Dulverton Gardening Club for their annual Dulverton & District Flower & Produce Show to be held on Saturday 15 August in Dulverton Town Hall from 2 to 4pm. There are categories in the show schedule suitable for everyone to enter: from growing, to making and sewing, from baking and flower arranging, to photography and many more. She then moved to Exton in May 2022 creating a garden from scratch that includes a cutting garden growing over 50 different dahlia varieties and a similar number of tulip varieties, and a 9 bed veg garden where she grows at least two crops in each bed. Dulverton Trail Fun Run & Canicross 2026

Now in its sixth consecutive year, join us for the popular Dulverton Trail Fun Run & Canicross – cross country running along 5km or 10km routes through the beautiful countryside around Dulverton, Exmoor – with or without your dog of course! The start and finish are located at the Exmoor Lawns, Dulverton beside the River Barle – with refreshments available. Are you brave enough to tackle the Dulverton Demon – a steep, wooded hill leading from Marsh Bridge up towards Court Down?! Beautiful but challenging! New for 2026 – walkers will be invited to join the 5k route! ONLINE BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN – click HERE to reserve your space! We are extremely grateful to have the support and generous sponsorship in 2026 of The Bridge Inn, Dulverton (our fabulous pub located right beside the Exmoor Lawns and the historic bridge over the River Barle) and local businesses Stag Environmental, suppliers of Polaris ATVs and UTVs on Exmoor, and Dulverton’s excellent music shop, Oggies, a one stop shop for all your musical needs.
