Open Lite House

Do join us in the main church for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, scones and cakes. There is no charge for these but we welcome donations. It’s a chance to meet old friends and make new ones, perhaps play a game or help complete a jigsaw. All are welcome. Open LIte House runs until 1pm and then Lighthouse Project volunteers generally contuinue to 2pm.

The Lighthouse Project

The Lighthouse Project creates a space where all are welcome to find food, friendship, and help in time of need. On Wednesdays we run in conjunction with Open Lite House offering drinks, refreshments, games and craft in the main Church. On Fridays, our drop in provides all of this and usually a hot lunch too. We can provide food parcels and household items, and help people find the help they need from other organisations.

Senior Youth Summer Workshop

The town's most established Summer Workshop returns for budding young stars aged 15 - 23 years old to show off their talents in a full-blown, West End style, musical production! Limited to just 20 places, the participants will enjoy TWO WEEKS working with a PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE TEAM, developing performance skills, as well as working across all areas involved in theatre and media production. Most importantly, it's the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to get creative, expressive and have lots of fun! Regardless of any previous experience, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST for those interested in the creative arts.
