Award-winning cellist Michael Petrov has captivated audiences and critics across Europe and beyond with his “captivating musical temperament and a direct eloquence” (Die Welt), reflecting his commanding presence on the international stage. Michael will play on a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume cello dated 1745, kindly loaned by a private individual. He is joined by pianist Susie Summers, a prize-winning alumna of the Royal Academy of Music, London, and Cambridge University, who has performed and worked extensively across UK conservatoires and has broadcast on BBC Radio 3, BBC2, BBC4 and ABC Radio Australia.
