A Free Event for All East Sussex Businesses Date: Wednesday 15th April 2026 Venue: The Civic Centre, Uckfield TN22 1AE Time: 9am - 12.30pm If you are a Wellbeing at Work registered employer or an organisation looking to improve your wellbeing offer to support your staff with mental health, Musculoskeletal Health (spine health), improve workplace culture, and/or meet likeminded and forward thinking businesses - join us at The Civic Centre in Uckfield! In this session we will be exploring how we can support people to stay healthy in work and return to work sooner, for example when musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions become a barrier to working safely or working well. You’ll hear about the range of support available for both employers and employees when MSK health, wellbeing, or other challenges begin to affect someone’s ability to stay in work, or return to work. We’ll share practical advice, useful resources, and simple ways workplaces can promote better MSK health, and better signpost people to resources around them. Over the morning you’ll hear from: East Sussex MSK Community Partnership (ESMSK) – ESMSK clinical staff will be discussing MSK health in the workplace, with practical tips to help reduce risk and support colleagues experiencing MSK conditions. Film night: Potiche

The Mid-Sussex Franco-British Society will be hosting a film night in French. Potiche is an adaptation of a popular 1970s stage play about a submissive "trophy wife," who takes over her husband's umbrella factory after a worker strike. The film reunites legendary actors Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu, who had previously starred together in François Truffaut's The Last Metro. Directed by François Ozon. All welcome. Reclaiming Money: Create Your Own Currency

Join Aghh! Zine at the Cosy Crafting Room at The Scrap Space, Brighton, for a creative afternoon where you will make your own currency. In this workshop, we will dive into what money and currency are, and with the help of writing and drawing prompts, we will create our own using reclaimed materials. Create a currency which aligns with what’s important to you - reclaiming what is valuable to you and your community. All Materials will be provided.
