Following a sell-out 2024/2025 national run, Andy Zaltzman – host of The Bugle podcast and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, statistician on Test Match Special, and champion of Taskmaster series 18 – extends his hit tour into 2026. Fully updated due to the UK and the world both steadfastly refusing to sort themselves out, Andy assesses the state of renowned planet Earth, its under-pressure current in-house millennium, and its most famous and controversial species – the human race. With politicians the world over striving to outdo each other in splattering their people with a cocktail of incompetence, inexplicability and insatiable dishonesty, Andy, the universe’s leading and only 2-in-1 political-comedian-and-professional-cricket-statistician, harnesses the combined 21st-century witchcraft of A.I. and his live audience. Over each term young people explore, create and develop original work from scratch around a theme agreed by the group culminating in a performance showcasing the term’s work. Alongside weekly sessions with our in-house practitioners, Sadie Hurley and James Middleton, we occasionally invite artists working in spoken word, visual arts, puppetry, costume, special FX and digital arts to offer a chance to learn new skills, develop in confidence and imagination and have fun! Rob Auton Rob Auton has written twelve five star rated Edinburgh fringe shows, building a live audience through his unique world view and love of writing and performing.
