What's on in Avery Hill

Greater London, England

From craft workshops the kids won't stop asking about to quiz nights that'll test your knowledge of Greater London trivia (yes, really) — Avery Hill has it sorted. Coffee mornings, farmers' markets, film screenings, book clubs, open mic nights, toddler groups, and the occasional village fête that runs like clockwork. All the events that happen in village halls and community centres and local venues that the big listings sites don't bother with. We check the parish council pages, the library noticeboards, the venue websites buried three clicks deep. If it's happening locally and it's worth knowing about, it's here.

Blood on the Clocktower

Join us for some Blood on the Clocktower, as tragedies and gory betrayals struck Ravenswood Bluff once again. Whether you are a seasoned traveller or a total beginner looking to step foot into a world of mischiefs and mysteries, all are welcome to come along and spin your very own tales at Ravenswood Bluff with our talented Storytellers. The event starts at 5:00 p.m. with a 30 minutes introduction/beginners’ guide, where our Storytellers gives a brief introduction and explanation to players that are new to Blood on the Clocktower before the game starts. The game officially starts at 5:30 p.m., and there will be a food break at 7:00-7:30 p.m. *Please note that if we don’t meet the minimum player threshold, this event will be cancelled, and your ticket will be either refunded or moved to our next event. What is Blood on the Clocktower? Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception for five-to-twenty courageous players and one devious storyteller. A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the village.
