Dole sits snugly in Dyfed where the days are long and the pace is slower than a cat on a Sunday cushion. With no big venues to shout about, we rely on the local community halls and church groups putting on plays or film nights that keep everyone entertained. It's a place where you can find a gathering without having to book a ticket for weeks in advance. The town centre has enough space for markets and outdoor festivals to pop up when the weather permits. We're happy to be the quiet sort of spot where neighbours actually know each other's names.
