The castle was a busy hub of activity during the medieval period with houses, workshops and stables all within the castle walls. Focusing on this era, the artefacts reveal intricate details of everyday life at the castle 800 years ago. Circus Skills with Fiery Jack

Join Fiery Jack's circus skills school for a full day of circus fun. From 10am, have a go at a range of circus skills in an open workshop session, with expert instructors on hand to help you learn, practise and show off. At 12.30pm, gather for a spectacular show. At 2pm, the Cycle Circus kicks off with a high-energy afternoon of extraordinary bikes: unicycles, tricycles and everything in between, with performance and hands-on sessions.
