FORMAL NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE BRITISH JUDO COUNCIL Issued under Section 305 Companies Act 2006 By the Requisitioning Members Date: 16 th July 2026 NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING (EGM) Dear Members, This is the formal statutory notice convening an Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) of the British Judo Council (“the Company”), issued by the requisitioning members under section 305 of the Companies Act 2006 . On 24 June 2026 , members representing more than 5% of the voting rights submitted a valid requisition under section 303 Companies Act 2006 , requiring the Headquarters Committee (“HQC”) to call an EGM. Under section section 304(1) . and Article 10 of the Company’s Articles of Association, the HQC was legally required to call the EGM within 21 days . The HQC has failed to do so . Accordingly, under section 305 , the requisitioning members are now convening the EGM themselves. Welcome to the Fireball Junior Series, a season-long programme of junior beach volleyball tournaments created to help young athletes develop their game in a friendly, supportive, and competitive environment. The 2026 series features events at both Croyde Beach and Kidbrooke, offering juniors multiple opportunities across the year to play, learn, and grow. With five dates throughout the Spring and Summer, these events are designed to make competitive beach volleyball accessible and enjoyable for players of all levels. Held on the 21st August 2026, this coastal event takes place during our Junior Summer Camp at beautiful Croyde Beach. It brings together camp participants and independent teams for an exciting day of competitive play in one of the UK’s most scenic beach volleyball settings. You do not need to be part of the camp to enter the tournament.

Southwest Series #9 - Croyde

Welcome to the Southwest Series - the region’s premier beach volleyball tour. Running since 2021, the series is designed to provide high-quality, accessible and welcoming tournaments for players of all levels, from first-time competitors to experienced athletes looking for strong competition in a friendly environment. One of the biggest weekends of the season takes place at Croyde from Saturday, 29th August to Monday, 31st August 2026 over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Men’s and Women’s pairs (UKBT 3)* will take place on Saturday, 29th August, followed by the Mixed pairs (UKBT 2)* tournament on Sunday, 30th August. Both days will also feature Tier 2 non-UKBT tournaments. The weekend wraps up with our Fun 4s tournament on Monday, 31st August. This event is played in a mixed 4v4 format and is all about fun, creativity and celebrating the bank holiday on the sand. Teams are encouraged to come in fancy dress, making it one of the most social and entertaining events of the series. Expect plenty of volleyball, great costumes and a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere to round off the weekend.

Southwest Series Finals - Exmouth

The Southwest Series Finals, taking place on Saturday, 19th September and Sunday, 20th September 2026 in Exmouth, are the biggest event of the Southwest beach volleyball season and the grand finale to a Summer of competition across the series. We’ll be pulling out all the stops to create a true showcase event for the Southwest beach volleyball community. Across the weekend there will be live commentary, a centre court setup, music throughout the day, and a festival-style atmosphere to celebrate the end of the season. In addition to the on-court action, players are invited to join a Saturday evening players’ dinner, where we will host the Southwest Series Awards and celebrate the achievements of players across the 2026 season.
