Atway sits quietly in Devon where the hills roll gently and the pace of life is measured in cups of tea rather than rush hour traffic. It's a proper village sort of place where neighbours know each other's names and the local shops are always happy to chat while you queue for groceries. We've got plenty of local groups organising gatherings without needing a grand stage or a massive hall. There's usually a market stall round the corner selling homemade jams, and someone is always holding a quiz in the community centre down the road.
