St Kea All Hallows

Daniel 1:1-7 This congregation meets in a beautiful church building in the countryside just outside Truro. We are made up of people who have recently joined the church family as well as those who have been here for many years. Each Sunday we gather to allow God to speak into our lives as we open the Bible, listen, sing, pray and build community. Whether you are completely new to church and want to explore questions about faith, or are used to being part of a church family, we'd love to welcome you. Our time together starts with tea and coffee at 10.15am, the service begins at 10.30am and is normally finished by 11.40am when there is a further chance to chat over tea and coffee. We have plenty of families who are served by a baby and parent room, a Sunday Club for primary age children where they learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment, and a group for 11-14s with hot chocolate and an engaging Bible study.

With Damian Sémonin we borrow Hockney’s eyes for the day and paint the way he did — bright, flat pool-and-splash acrylics: clean edges, bold colour, water you can almost hear. The Summer Get Together, hosted by Mary Vague is on Tuesday 28th July at the Stithians Centre from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm. The day includes a choice of hand or machine pattern, hot drinks and, of course, cake. The patterns both have a nautical theme, a Bargello quilt with applique and a hand stitched wall hanging. Coach Trip to Festival of Quilts -30th/31st July

Local sewing group, Karenza Quilters, invite you to join them on their coach trip to the Festival of Quilts on July 30th and 31st this year. The last trip to Malvern was fully booked so if you are interested please contact Lesley The price includes the return coach trip, with 3 pick up/drop off points in Cornwall – Penventon Hotel, Truro Coach Station & Cornwall Services overnight accommodation, evening meal and breakfast at a Premier Inn, two day visit to the Festival of Quilts at the NEC Birmingham including bus transfer to and from the hotel. This visit is organised by Kerenza Quilters If you are interested please contact Lesley with any enquiries and to book – We recommend getting in touch asap as their trip to Malvern is now fully booked. There is just a £50 deposit to pay to secure a place and the rest to be paid by June 14th. The cost is £184.50 if the coach is full but there may be additional contributions if there is space on the coach. Full details in the poster and from Lesley.
