Play on repeat this summer at Trelissick, where there’s no end to the fun. We’ll be celebrating Summer of Play every day between 19 July and 2 September with games, activities and outdoor fun for the whole family. Get active and play tennis on the West Lawn, try lawn games or hold a race to the finish line. Who will be the champion? Embrace your creativity and make-believe in the stables where you’ll find a stage ready for you to dress up, put on a show and tell stories. Explore winding paths on the Trelissick garden trail, running throughout the summer holidays, and find the perfect spots for picnics and chill out spaces. Summer of Play activities are free (normal admission applies), so you can try them all and come back again and again. Dogs on short leads are permitted in the garden at Trelissick, keeping paws on paths. Summer of Play is supported by Pokémon.

Pokémon joins Trelissick's Summer of Play

On top of an already jam-packed Summer of Play, discover the Pokémon zone on the West Lawn where you’ll find a series of challenges to flex your skills and take part in mega games. Enjoy storytelling from James and Jasper the dragon on 29 July, 12, 15, 19 and 26 August, then clown around every Thursday by honing your circus skills with Circo Kernow. Take aim on Fridays and have a go at archery, there’ll be soft kits for younger families to also have a go, and on 1, 5, 22 and 29 August stretch, breathe and feel calm with outdoor family yoga sessions. Play your way on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and let your imagination lead the way. We can’t wait to see what fantastical creatures you create whether you dress up, tell stories or embrace your artistic side. Big Butterfly Count

On your visit to the estate at Trelissick help take nature's pulse by joining in with Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count. How many different species will you be able to identify? We'll provide recording sheets for your sightings and this will help us assess the health of the environment. When you've finished head to the ladder walk and add your sightings to the wildlife board.
