We strongly recommending booking your tickets in advance to guarantee your place on our walks. While we will do our best to accommodate people on the day, places are subject to availability. Notes If you would like to visit the museum on the same day as your walk, this is possible from 11:30am before the walk starts, but there is not time after the walk finishes. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a long time Amersham resident, new to the area, or simply interested in meeting new people. We often look at objects from the museum’s collections to get us chatting, talk about a particular theme, or get involved in wider museum projects. These sessions are sociable, stimulating and fun. The sessions are free and last for around an hour and always include tea, coffee and biscuits. You are very welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer.
