Coast-Kyst-Strönd brings together Haftor Medbøe (guitar and electronics), Gunnar Halle (trumpet, voice and electronics) and Signy Jakobsdottir (drums, percussion and electronics) performing a programme of collectively composed music. The work draws on the musicians’ eclectic musical backgrounds that span jazz, improvised music, traditional and folk musics, pop, rock and electronica. Together they create a sumptuous sound world with strident melodies over lush harmonies and intricate textures. Acoustica marries with electronica in a fusion of Nordic sensibilities that pushes at the edges of genre and invites the audience into a warm, embracing space.

A bold, ambitious and reflective collection, SPIN is an album of reinterpretation - RANT’s take on influential tracks from their formative years. Music of bands and players from across the globe who inspired them individually and collectively.
