This is a unique opportunity to see and learn about honeybees. With our expert beekeepers you’ll get up close to our hives where you’ll see the different type of bee – queen, drone and workers, and the honey capped in the frames. Bee suits provided. Please note, this activity is not suitable for anyone who has required medical attention as a result of a sting, or pregnant women.

Meet the bees workshop for families

This is a unique opportunity to see and learn about honeybees. With our expert beekeepers you’ll get up close to our hives where you’ll see the different type of bee – queen, drone and workers, and the honey capped in the frames. We have two sessions available: 11am-12pm and 12.30-1.30pm. Groups must be no larger than two adults and three children. Open to children age 8 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Bee suits provided. Please note, this activity is not suitable for anyone who has required medical attention as a result of a sting, or pregnant women. Limited places available.

Pumpkin carving workshop

Join our workshop and carve a pumpkin to take home. We have two sessions available: 11am-12pm and 12.30-1.30pm. This workshop is open to children but all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. All materials provided.
