Meet the bees workshop

This is a unique opportunity to see and learn about honeybees. With our expert beekeepers you’ll get up close to our hives where you’ll see the different type of bee – queen, drone and workers, and the honey capped in the frames. Bee suits provided. Please note, this activity is not suitable for anyone who has required medical attention as a result of a sting, or pregnant women.

We have two sessions available: 11am-12pm and 12.30-1.30pm. Groups must be no larger than two adults and three children. Open to children age 8 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Bee suits provided.
