Trauma and Trauma informed support This CPD training for counsellors and psychotherapists will help develop competencies for working therapeutically with trauma in the context of your client’s spirituality. You will learn about polyvagal and somatic approaches to trauma as well as the spirituality of trauma recovery and safe connecting. About the trainer: Nikki Dhillon Keane is an accredited practitioner, clinical supervisor, writer and trainer with over 20 years’ experience working with survivors of domestic abuse in faith settings. Her books include “Domestic Abuse in Church Communities” (redemptorist) and she has worked with BACP and ACC to develop guidance and competencies for practitioners working with domestic abuse.
