Family Foodbank Takeover: Supermarket Sweep

1.30pm - 4.30pm, suggested £15 donation on the day to purchase items // Come and join us for our weekly delivery processing session and a supermarket sweep to buy essential items and experience what happens behind the scenes at our Foodbank! Every Monday we receive up to 80 supermarket-sized delivery crates, and we need lots of helping hands to sort through, organise and store everything in the right place. It's a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the work our volunteers put in to help run our weekly Foodbank and the teamwork that keeps it running. We're opening this vital volunteering session to young families, giving children and adults alike the chance to get involved, learn about food poverty, teamwork and most importantly - make a real difference in the community. Please note that this is a free event. As part of the afternoon, we will also be visiting the O2 Shopping Centre to purchase donations for the Foodbank. We kindly ask each family attending to set aside £15 to buy items to donate. All items will of course go to JW3 Foodbank! All children need guardian supervision throughout so parents/ grandparents/ carers/ aunts/ uncles etc. are expected to stay for this activity (and participation is strongly encouraged!)
