BOOK TICKETS FOR AARON AZUNDA AKUGBO & RYAN CORBETT Two former Festival Young Artists – and fellows Scots! – combine for an exciting evening of original works and transcriptions, as trumpeter Aaron Azunda Akugbo and classical accordionist Ryan Corbett return to Lichfield for a dazzling programme that spans the centuries. Both are now established soloists – Ryan is a current BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and Classic FM Rising Star; Aaron is also a leading exponent of his instrument and regularly freelances in the principal chairs of some of the most prestigious orchestras in the UK including the Philharmonia, BBC Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. To close our Chamber Music weekend, they will bring us a touch of folk, baroque music from Venice’s Marcello, a flavour of France from Fauré, and a taste of South America from the ever-popular Argentinian tango maestro, Piazzolla. Tickets are available per concert, as an evening season pass (including 4 evening concerts) or for the full weekend (including all 8 concerts) .
