Summer Regatta 2

NEW FOR 2026 – Summer Regatta Series! An experiment for 2026! The Summer Series is typically held over a very long period, from May to September. Many boats struggle to complete the full series due to other summer commitments and for those sailing, RTI, Cowes Week etc there is a lot to do. Other clubs are experimenting with running more regatta type events and so for 2026 we plan to run 3 weekends of 2 day racing. Features being planned: 2-3 races per day Split fleets reflecting boat classes Committee boat starts Daily Prizegiving with sponsor prizes Food and drink deals at SYC Entertainments Weekends have been chosen in an attempt to avoid clashes with other major UK events.
