Welcome to the first SYC Keelboat Section Summer Regatta — a two-day celebration of sailing, competition, and great company.Join us for an exciting weekend on the water, with competitive racing designed to be accessible, engaging, and above all, fun. Whether you’re racing hard or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this is your chance to be part of a vibrant sailing experience. 2026 Summer Regatta Series Our regatta series runs across three standout events: 9th - 10th May 2026 6th - 7th June 2026 15th - 16th August 2026 (Final Regatta) Entry & Dining Regatta Entry: £11 per day, £17 for both days (enter via normal WhatsApp) Meal Package: £15 per person - Includes a hearty dinner and a house drink of your choice. Entertainment for the evening will be by the talented Luke Lovett. Happy hour prices on drinks from 5pm - 7pm. Food available after the race from 5pm - 7:30pm. Group together now as a crew, support YOUR club and don’t miss out on the evening meal to round off your day. We’re excited to launch this new regatta format for 2026 and can’t wait to welcome you for a season of great racing and unforgettable weekends on the water. The evening is open to all club members, whether sailors or not, please join the event, appreciate the live music and enjoy the food!

Enjoy Happy Hour from 4-6pm, delectable Menu Specials available from 5-8:30pm, and let the night crescendo with Live Music from 6-9pm. A perfect way to unwind and elevate your Friday evenings at Stow's! Contact the bar on to enquire who's playing and what menu options will be available. Summer Regatta 2

NEW FOR 2026 – Summer Regatta Series! An experiment for 2026! The Summer Series is typically held over a very long period, from May to September. Many boats struggle to complete the full series due to other summer commitments and for those sailing, RTI, Cowes Week etc there is a lot to do. Other clubs are experimenting with running more regatta type events and so for 2026 we plan to run 3 weekends of 2 day racing. Features being planned: 2-3 races per day Split fleets reflecting boat classes Committee boat starts Daily Prizegiving with sponsor prizes Food and drink deals at SYC Entertainments Weekends have been chosen in an attempt to avoid clashes with other major UK events. Let’s try it! Competitor attendance and feedback will be used to determine the success of the events and if its repeated in future years. To purchase a meal package for after the race Click Here

This two day course is for beginners who have done little or no sailing before. It is the first part of the RYA training scheme and its aim is to provide basic boat handling techniques and essential background knowledge. By the end of the course you will be able to sail safely under supervision. Pre Course Experience: None required Duration: 2 days Times: 09:00-17:00
