'The Musicals Collection' with Denmark Street Big Band

We welcome back PizzaExpress and London Favourites, The Denmark Street Orchestra’ and a wonderful return of the amazing ‘Musicals Collection’ Concert series show called ‘Love at the Musicals’ featuring two of the finest west end vocalists, Sabrina Carter (Wicked) and Paul Etorre Tabone. A classic afternoon of Musicals songs from your favourite West end shows including Phantom, Les Misérables, Chicago, Mary Poppins and Me and My Girl. A Show not to be missed which will leave Dancing in the Aisles!! Remember when the exciting big bands electrified audiences… The Denmark Street Big Band recreates the swinging jazz sounds of the big band era, performing music and songs than span an entire century of music, including standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean martin,Sammy Davis Jnr, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles,Glenn Miller,Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald along with other legends of ‘The American Songbook’. Performing these classic songs using the Billy May, Nelson Riddle and Quincy Jones arrangements and using the finest musicians and vocalists in the UK, the band will transport you back to Las Vegas and perfectly capture the unique style and sound of this fantastic era of entertainment. Paul Tabone began performing from the age of 9 and throughout his education attained extraordinary grades in piano, voice and music theory.
