Jonny Kerry

Jonny Kerry is a singer-songwriter, accordionist and pianist. His music moves between jazz, blues and French chanson, weaving original songs with reimagined standards. As a young man he fell in with a group of French luthiers and violin students who'd come to Newark to study. Evenings turned into jam sessions. He learned accordion in that circle, soaking up French folk songs and jazz standards. This led to Paris and a masterclass with Richard Galliano, one of the great accordion players of the modern era. Back in England, Kerry built a career across hundreds of gigs, jazz clubs, concert halls, festivals and BBC productions. He's played royal engagements, appeared on Peaky Blinders, and pulled in millions of streams along the way. He's released three albums under his own name, most recently Moving On, and is tracking his Kerry captivates audiences with his smooth vocals and virtuosic piano artistry. His original compositions seamlessly fuse the timeless elegance of traditional pop with the soulful nuances of jazz and blues music.
